Hi
The two DI in PAS600L, PAS800L are they active or passive (Power Supply) ?, can it be configured. So the right type of pulse counter is to be used.
Is the old SIM10M unit (Modbus slave) compatible ? or planned in future firmware release

Hello
The two Dis of the PAS600L/PAS800L are passive. So an external power supply (24 VDC recommended if supported by the pulse counter) must be added to fix the potentials.
Electrical pulse counters compliant to standard IEC62053-31 (example iEM2000T ) can be connected to the PAS DIs.
Based on the analysis of this standard, the maximum pulse frequency should be 16.66 Hz (with a minimum pulse width of 30 ms).
it is possible to connect wage meters (gas, water, etc...) compatible to the characteritics abover even if they are not certified IEC62053-31.
Regarding SIM10M:
- if the Panel Server acts as a transparent gateway, no template is needed and in this case SIM10M can be connected (like any other modbus SL product : SE or third party)
- if the panel server acts as data aggregator (Local Energy server or cloud connection architectures), there is no Built-in model for SIM10M in Panel Server and you will have to develop a custom model.
Note: For reasons of memory size, it is not possible to embed built-in models for all SE products. The strategy is therefore to not include end-of-commercialization products (such as the SIM10M) which can be replaced by available equivalent products (such as the SmartLink A9XMSB11).
