I have a request from a customer regarding the use of an EGX150 to gather data from a set of meters to 2 separate networks.
We are looking at the EGX150 as it can have 2 separate IP addresses, and the question is around the security of the networks.
Is it possible to get from one network to the other through the device? Even if the person trying knows the gateway password?

Hello @Andy_Hubert ,
As far I remember Link150 is dual port only with 1 MAC Address. You have the possibility to enable/disable each ETH port, but you cannot have different IP on each port.
Network separation was possible with Com'X210/510.
Maybe your request is to use Link150 in Slave mode ? With data concentration on serial port ? But in this case, this is not possible to have 2 different LAN upstream the Link150.
For your need, better use the Panel Server PAS600. PAS600 has a separate network mode.

hello,
Not sure to understand your set-up and I am not sure that LINK150 can be configured for seggregated network. If you want to achieve this using 2 Ethernet networks, suggest to use the PAS600 and the modbus "routing" feature.
