Hi everybody,
A part of my network is simple:
I want to read the value in SIM10 registers via my none schneider gateway
I create a gateway device in my Comx200 and I attached SIM10M to it
Unfortunately it is not working!!
I have 1.1.20 firmware
I tried with an iRIO (in case of) and it works
What can I do?
Regards

Hello,
What is the network configuration of the Com'X and how is connected the Modbus master that needs to read the SIM10 registers ?
The section 7.5 Gateway access of the user guide shows the possible architectures.
If the Com'X is in 2 separate ports mode, the Modbus master on the WAN side, the Modbus slaves on the LAN side, then it will not work.

Sylvain

Hi,
We choose the separate port option for network configuration and use port 1 to send datas to EO and port 2 for modbus
page 63, I use separated ports, first architecture
So I think, this part is correct

Hello,
How the modbus gateway gets its IP address? Is it static or allocated through DHCP?
Does it work if you add a laptop on eth2 and try to access to the SIM through the gateway thanks to a Modbus client?

Sylvain

If you push me the configuration backup of your Com'X I could have a look on it.
If you do so please send it to my Schneider email for privacy purpose.

Sylvain
