πŸ˜€, I did not ask in vain: "Are any thresholds already set on these temperature sensors or not?"

You have a enabled humidity range threshold for this temperature sensor: if the humidity is less than 70% or more then 80%, then an alarm is triggered, which is displayed as a flushed error:

Either disable/remove this range threshold, or change its value to reasonable limits, for example, from 30 ... 35% to 65...70%.

With best regards.

Hi c.lor,

Describe, please, your problem in more detail: what messages when adding a sensor appear, for example?

Show, please, a screenshot of your actions with this sensor type.

With best regards.

First, try to disconnect physically a failure sensor (if it is still connected), and then to remove it from the Advanced View (from the shortcut menu). Only after successful removing a failure sensor try to connect a sensor again physically.

In more detail about the same problem it is possible to read here .

With best regards.

Hi c.lor,

First, what type of temperature sensors you connect to the NetBotz and in which ports (their numbers)? Are any thresholds already set on these temperature sensors or not?

Try physically to disconnect these temperature sensors, then remove them from the Advanced View window, and then physically reconnect to the NetBotz.

Secondly, the language localization of information display in the Advanced View software is tied to the language locale of your session in the OS. Hence the question: what is your OS on the PC and what language locale is setup in your session?

Question three: how do you connect using the Advanced View to the NetBotz device? Directly (by the IP address of NetBotz) or via the SOCKS proxy on the DCE server?

With best regards.

I congratulate you: You made it πŸ˜€. On a screenshot Smoke sensor in the normal state (No Smoke) is visible. It was necessary only to setup threshold value and response of the NetBotz device to its actuating (to send the alarm e-mail, SMS or to enable Beacon , etc.)

With best regards.

With Smoke sensor delivers only the short instruction for initial hardware installation πŸ˜€.

Concerning initial configuring of NetBotz it is possible to read here:

  1. Defining Analog Thresholds
  2. Defining State Thresholds
  3. Advanced Threshold Settings
  4. Alert Action
  5. Alert Profile

I have no Smoke sensor, but if it is very short, then here several sequential pictures:

With best regards.

Ok, what is the approximate length of the temperature sensor cable? Is there an extension cable?

If you locale is U.S. then it's normal, the temperature should be in Fahrenheit πŸ˜€.

Try to change another locale or: to change the readings on Celsius, try in Windows 10 to go to Control Panel -> Region -> in Formats tab -> Additional settings... -> Measurement system: Metric:

With best regards.

On this question there are already several open topics, for example:

But in this question should be guided Version 3 Netbotz modem support and this manuals for NetBotz-450 hardware:

  • LSCZ-7BUKZ9_R4_EN.pdf ("Connect a USB modem" on page 20);
  • JHIN-7PTK7P_R5_EN.pdf.

I.e., NetBotz devices unfortunately support a very limited number of USB modems. It all depends on what kind of modem you have?

I am always glad to help.
