Dear Abdullah,
Here are the recommendations to install a temperature sensor(AP9335T) at the racks.
2. Connect the sensor cable to a Universal Sensor Port on a compatible device. The length can be extended via an RJ-45 coupling with CAT-5 cable.
Here are the recommendations to install a temperature and humidity(AP9355TH) sensor at the racks.
Attach sensors to the vertical rail in a rack using adhesive cable tie holders and tie wraps (bottom graphic). Tighten a tie wrap across the sensorβs bottom recessed channel.
Connect the sensor cable to a Universal Sensor Port on a compatible device. The length can be extended via an RJ-45 coupling with CAT-5 cable.
I also suggest you to refer the APC APC Whitepaper #102: Monitoring Physical Threats in the Data Center for more useful information.
I hope this helps.
