I'm trying to upgrade our DCE from 7.2.7 to 7.3.1 and all the way up to current. This is hosted on a physical APC server.
I point to the update package VIA the DCE client and it kicks off the upgrade but stalls right after step 1 of the upgrade. It goes to a screen that says " unable to contact database. Trying to reconnect" and hangs there. I've left it for as much as 4 hours. If I plug in a screen to the server it's just sitting at the login prompt. It responds to pings etc.
If I reboot it, It comes back up to 7.2.7 fine. I've tried this twice now with the same result.
Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting? I looked at disk space etc and we have like 98% free.

Hi
Sound like a phenomena that i also have had some time ago. There‘s a log folder which will not be delete automatically and this blocks the upgrade. Please call your local techsupport for assistance.
