Hi,
When will be possible to use an APC SRT UPS as source for power in a room? I understand the workaround which is to create a generic UPS but I don't understand how hard is it to just edit the device properties to be a source and then have integrations with by pulling the data from its management card for accuracy. We have about 30 offices globally and we use the 10K UPS as our computer room source. Would be great if we can tie it all together with accurate measurements. It's been over 3 years since we implemented DCO and still waiting on this feature.

We also have the same requirement for smaller distributed sites/IDF's and have added a feature request for this functionality.
Schneider needs to focus on ensuring ALL their products are available and workable within DCO to make the platform functional at an enterprise level.

I understand this request is a long running one. We look at request and the trends we see in the market and try features that we believe will the largest impact. Unfortunately there are no concrete plans to add support for the rack mounted UPS.
Some of the complexities that makes modeling this more involved is that often rack mounted UPSs have an internal rack PDU, which means that the capacity calculations cannot assume the same structure of the power path as previously.
We have of course noted that this is still a feature you are still interested in.
