SMTP/Gmail = SMTP configuration error

Greetings.

I'm having problems to configure Notifications->E-mail in NetBotz 250. All the time i get "SMTP configuration error".

I'm using Gmail: smtp.gmail.com

Hope to hear from you ASAP and thanks in advance.

There's a pretty good k-base that walks you through NMC based products like the NetBotz 250 working with things like gmail. You can find k-base FA164769 here.

Hi Steven.

I've tried all the steps but unfortunately the problem was not solved.

On DNS->Test = Pass!

E-mail Server Settings:

From Address: xxxx@gmail.com

SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com

Port: 25

Authentication = Enabled

User Name: xxxx@gmail.com

Password: xxxx

Confirm Password: xxxx

Use SSL/TLS: If Supported

E-mail Recipient:

Generation = Enabled

To Address: xxxx@gmail.com

Server: Custom

Custom E-mail Server Settings: *same as above.

*Allowing less secure apps to access your account/Gmail = Active

But still get = SMTP configuration error.

Maybe i'm missing something?
