Hello,
I am working on a system on which the time accuracy is key.
I would like to know:
I cannot find this information in the documentation.
Thank you in advance.
Best Regards,
Raphaël

@Anonymous user From our Hardware folks.
The crystal is the main spec, it’s 10ppm. It is a hardware timer, so it’s not software dependent. There are 2.7M seconds in a month so the crystal alone is 27 seconds/month. As a rule of thumb we generally say it generally is “a minute a month”.
All that being said something important to note is that we only time stamp to the second, so accuracy better than 1 second is not going to be reflected in log entries.
Thanks,
Rick

Hi Raphael!
Maybe someone from product team have info about clock accuracy, but there is no info in open documentation.
In terms of usual operation it is pretty accurate, but it's recomended to set up communication with NTP server for periodic time syncronization.

Hello Valentin,
I did not find any information either in the documentation.
However, the NTP cannot be used and I need to assess the accuracy of the time clock, and as well as the amount of time after which the accuracy is drifting, so the system will reconnect to the APC Sensors and update the date&time.
I looking forward to reading from the product team. Will they answer to this feed ?
Best Regards,
Raphaël
