Hi,
My client would like to know if we have modbus support for Netbotz. They are trying to monitor the netbotz appliances from a third party platform via Modbus? Is this at all possible currently?

Hi Kevin,
Netbotz have a default NetBotz output over IP. The 4xx units can connect serially using an FTDI cable (see manual) and the 570 has RS485 connections directly on the unit.

Chunyang, NetBotz have the ability to be monitored by a BMS using the Modbus protocol (as noted above) however NetBotz do not have the ability to monitor other devices using Modbus. If you want an APC option to monitor Modbus, StruxureWare Data Center Expert (DCE) is capable of monitoring devices using Modbus over IP.
