Hi all,
I have a client trying to have surveillance in a remote area and sending the surveillance footage to DCE via VSAT transmission. The plan is not to send footage 24/7 but only when motion is detected during specific times. I would like to know if anyone has had a similar setup before and if there were any issues with the recordings and how the latency affects sending the footage to DCE.

Hi Kevin,
I'll defer to anyone that has attempted this to provide a definitive answer but I have seen no questions on this in the past. I haven't had any experience with it but if the network throughput can handle the frame rate along with other traffic between the camera and NetBotz appliance or between the NetBotz and DCE. Sorry but they may have to be the test bed for this. Looking at this link though, I'm not fully convinced it will work to the customer's expectation:
