Dear Team,
Is it possible to receive SMS threshold alerts from Netbotz 570 with the following solution for UPS alerts like overload, UPS on battery etc?
Netbotz 570 + NetBotz Device Monitoring (Five Nodes) Pack(NBWN0006) + Compatible Modem
Planned Architecture is SUVT40 will be configured through Advance Node license to NB570 & alerts from UPS will be sent via SMS to users.
Please confirm.
Regards,
Bala

Hi Bala,
NetBotz can be configured with thresholds on any device it can monitor. The NetBotz does not receive traps nor does it have priority scanning as DCE does. If you are polling once every 1 minute (default) and a threshold is breached but resolves before the bot can poll the device, you can miss it. That means anything lasting less than a minute could potentially be missed. We do poll a good number of OIDs bus the DDF is not updated on a regular basis and we don't use the DCE DDF files. This is from an SUVT30 with no load on it.:
