How to upgrade DCO from 7.2.1 to 7.5 ?

Hi All ,

I know 7.2.5 to 7.3 must be used migration , now I used DCO 7.2.1 .

I tried to used the 7.2.1 backup file to restore 7.4 or 7.5 , it can not login DCO client and seems to failure .     

What's the best procedure for upgrade from 7.2.1 to 7.5 ?   Did it must used migration for some version ?

I'm bit confuse for your comment , as I know , the way what u mean is restore , right ?

If use migration , we can login the client of new server , and enter migration mode to connect the old server , right ?

I would try the migration feature, eg. a) install 7.5 on a new server, b) copy the 7.2.1 backup file to the new server, c) and then start the migration on the new server (7.5).

I've suggested a migration process, that involves the following steps:

1. Install DCO 7.5 on a new server

2. Copy/upload the "7.2.1 backup file" to the new server (ex. to /data/backup or /tmp)

3. Via 7.5 client connect/log-in to the new server

4. go to: System Setup > Migrate from StruxureWare Operation
