Hi,
Following a recommendation to upgrade Netbotz appliance at a client due to security vulnerabilities, the client actioned the firmware updates which were done over their LAN. The upgrades to a Netbotz 550 and 570 both completed successfully but the both appliances are now inaccessible.
Both can be pinged but none can be accessed either via web interface or AV. Even trying this directly on the devices is not successful. I have been able to connect via serial and confirmed all the IP settings are still on both appliances.
It seems to be the same issue mentioned in the below post.
Because the client currently does not have a backup of the appliances, I am hesitant to do a configreset or a tftp as the appliances both have Sea Level I/O devices with a lot of dry contacts to UPS, Cooling, and Gensets.
Is there anything i could possibly try to resolve this issue without having to do all the configurations considering there is no backup?
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Maybe you can use Wireshark to capture IP traffic first? This may give you a good clue.
I once discovered that there has 403 authentication error which turns out that the login is reset due to unknown reason.
Hope it can give you some clue. Thanks
