Netbotz 450 going offline "connectivity error"

We had newly installed Netbotz Rack monitor 450 and we have leak sensor cable connected to it.

Even not required we had connected the A link port of 450 to A link of Netbotz 200 in the same network. The 450 detected the unit but the all sensors were showing in unplugged status. After a day the cable from Alink port of 450 was disconnected and after that the 450 unit went Offline and I am not even able to access the console port.

There is message in StruxureWare Expert saying unit is offline due to connectivity error.

But as soon as I connect the Alink port of 450 back, the unit will be online. please advise why this is happening and a procedure for factory reset of 450.

Shemilusman,

The NetBotz 450 and NetBotz 200 are two stand-alone appliances and should not be connected with an A-link cable. The A-link cable outputs power, but only for sensors and sensor pods.

When the two NetBotz systems are not connected, are there any lights lit on the NetBotz 450? If there are not, ensure that the Netbotz 450 is connected to a known working power source via the AC line inlet power port.

If the appliance is powered on, are you able to ping it and log in using the web browser / advanced view application?

Best Regards,
Cory

Hi Cory, I did the mistake of connecting the Netbotz 200 and 450 A links ports. But now I did disconnect the A-link cable and performed "Re-flash firmware using TFTP procedure" using console access and the device is working fine. Regards Shemil

Hi All,

I disconnected the A-link cable between Netbotz 450 & 200 and performed "Re-flash firmware using TFTP procedure" using console access and the Netbotz 450 is working fine.

Regards

Shemil
