Hi,
For a Client we are getting everyday device offline due to timeout /communication error.
The DCE version is 7.3.1 and firmware on Netbotz 450 is V 4-4-0
The netbotz polling rate is set to 10 minutes.
Please advise how to solve the offline/timeout/communication lost error.
Thanks & Regards
Shemil

Hi shemilusman,
And you can attentively see contents of logfiles (Appliance Log, Appliance Event Log and Messages) on this incident, but from NetBotz-450 via APC Advanced View?
It will be possible the hint there.
With best regards.

Hi shemilusman,
The first thing I would recommend is to upgrade your DCE to the latest version 7.4.1 and also upgrade your NetBotz 450 to the latest BotzWare version 4.5.4. When upgrading the appliance, make sure to upgrade the Advance View application to the same version. If you still have issues after upgrading, you could try using the Advanced View POST only mode. In the Advanced View application, go to Tolls > Advanced > Advanced View POST only mode. Hope this helps.

Hi Shemil,
The appliance communicates using either HTTP or HTTPS. After checking the other suggestions, you may want to troubleshoot simple network connectivity. This would also appear to be a device on the private LAN of DCE as a user is logging in via a 10.2 address but the NetBotz appliance is a 192.168 address. Are there other devices in that segment with issues? Can you connect to another network port or switch? Is there any other connection between the 2 network segments (public and private) besides DCE? There should not be.
You also note that you're getting this every day. Is it always at the same time? Can you access the appliance directly (laptop on the same segment) using the protocol DCE communicates to the appliance when it is in this state?
