Hello,
Would it be possible that by using the NBES0304 dry contact cable in the Netbotz 450/550/570 along with several Ap9619 SMART UPS NMC I could get an SMS when powere is out or when the UPS has a fault ?
I've read that the Ap9619 has a configurable relay that is able to close or open on event basis. This led me to think that I could hook up a dry contact cable from Netbotz appliances to a NMC card relay and get useful information via SMS (and via e-mail of course) in the event of a power outage or something similar.
Thanks,
Petru

Hi Petru,
That would likely work but the recommended solution for this requirement would be to use a NetBotz 570 with the 5-node monitoring license (NBWN0006) to discover the NMC, and then configure an alert based on its status.

Steven

Dear petru bunea,
I think if a ethernet network is available for your UPS, then itβs better to just use its NMC without even connecting and buying additional licenses for the NetBotz-4.x appliance.
Indeed, in the above mentioned NMC there is a complete set for event notification, including by e-mail. And if you want to be notify via SMS, then you can use public email to SMS gateways of mobile operators in your country.
With respect.
