The second email is coming from your primary email notification alert that is within your profile. You will either need to remove the action from the profile that is being used for your SMS messages, or remove the email addresses that you do not want to receive an email from the action.
To edit the alert action (Warning! This applies to any Alert Profiles that are using this notification):
- Log into the NetBotz Appliance using the Advanced View application.
- Click on the configuration tab.
- Under Pod/Sensor Settings double click on Alert Actions.
- Select 'Primary E-mail Notification' and then select Edit.
- Remove the email addresses that you do not want to receive emails from the appliance.
To edit the alert profile to not include the Primary E-mail notification (Warning! This applies to all sensors that are within this policy):
- Perform steps 1-2 listed above.
- Under Pod/Sensor settings double click on Alert Profile.
- Select the name of your profile and then select Edit.
- Select your alert level (sometimes there are multiple you will need to go into) and then select edit.
- Under Actions, you may need to remove the Primary E-mail notification.
