Hi,
We have recived confirmation the Botz 570 along with others are being replaced with the 750. the problem here is we use Sea Level and GSM devices that work with 570 etc, but the 750 cannot utilize the USB ports will this be incorperated into the next FW revision for the 750 or not?
TIA

Thank you for the question.
First to answer the question about SMS support and Sea Level support. These features will not be in our next major release which is due sometime in Q1 of 2021, but they are on the backlog and we are hoping to add them later in 2021 once resources can be assigned.
When it comes to SMS messages there's actually a solution available now that doesn't involve having the customer install an email to SMS server. Many ISP's actually offer email to SMS as part of their service. This is not an exhaustive list, but shows many carriers and what email addresses to send to in order to translate it to SMS. https://support.teamunify.com/en/articles/227-email-to-sms-gateway-list
Thanks,
Rick

Hi @Mike-Sutton ,
That is correct. The version 3 appliances will be out of circulation at the end of 2020. For now consider additional sensor pods and dry contact sensors for the SeaI/O and an email to SMS service for the GSM modem.
Cannot comment about when the 250 or 750 appliances will support these unfortunately. Hopefully someone in the forum can share more info.

Hi Kevin,
I am aware of the work arounds but when you are monitoring 30+ dry contacts individual sensors are not cost effective and not a lot of clients have email to SMS servers.
Could someone from platform comment please
Cheers,
Mike
