Why does our <2 yr old NBWS100T run fine for around a month and then start intermittently reporting "low signal strength" until we reboot it? Can this be resolved with a new battery? Because all indication is that battery voltage is fine.

Hi George,
I haven't seen this specifically happen but it is possible the battery is starting to go...I really would expect the voltage to show some type of drop though. Has the voltage gone down at all over time? If you have DCE, you can check for 2-3 months in a report maybe.
Usually a low signal strength is just that, a signal issue. If the sensor is rebooted, and if you have only 1 sensor, the bot could be selecting a different wireless channel to rediscover it which may get better signal. This shouldn't be the case though if you have multiple sensors that are not dropping off.
Does it happen the same time of day or at random times? What type of distance from the coordinator or router are we talking about? Do you know if there's a lot of wireless traffic in the area or are there any fiber cables nearby (they seem to cause issues in this wireless band)?
What firmware is on the sensor / sensors and which NetBotz appliance are you using? What firmware is on the appliance?
Steve
