I have a NB 570, and have successfully loaded on the 5 node IPMI pack. However after adding a couple of nodes, they go "pod unplugged" - POd is unplugged or has malfunctioned. The UID and PW are correct. The devices are a AP7721 rATS, NB450 and NB455.
Can anyone offer any advise here?
Regards
Warren

Hi Warren,
How did you add the AP7721? Did you add it as an IPMI device? The page you noted does talk about SNMP but you also specified you used the correct "The UID and PW". If you are using SNMP, k-base FA226273 should help with troubleshooting SNMP issues.

Hi Warren,
Please add these devices as SNMP devices, sorry my initial answer was unclear. These devices do not support IPMI.

Woops - That is the actual issue. I added them as IPMI devices, when I actually needed to add them via Configuration - Scanned Devices. All good now. Many thanks for this.

Dear Warren Robb,
I added it as an IPMI device, and am slowly working my way throught he different IMPI options (as I cannot find anything specific on the AP7721 or NB250 manual)
Please tell us why you added rack ATS AP7721 as an IPMI device? After all, rack ATS AP7721 is only an SNMP enabled device.
With respect.
