Manage Your Netbotz Product

Hi.

Customer has received license package but it doesn't appear as optional item within the process:

register.netbotz.com >> Manage Yours Netbotz Product >> AP95100

How to achieve that either this is going to be updated within Schneider Electric system or somebody will get in contact with a customer to make possible correction on both sides?

I will give you more details during email's further communication.

Thank you,

Petr Riha

Petr,

At the end of 2014 we switched licensing systems, which caused there to now be inaccurate instructions on our passcodes.  Please follow the updated instructions within knowledge base article number FA235913.

Issue:
StruxureWare and NetBotz product and license/passcode registration instructions are inaccurate.

Product Line:
StruxureWare Data Center Expert
StruxureWare Data Center Operation
NetBotz Appliances

Environment :
License key passcodes for al StruxureWare and NetBotz products.

Cause:
The instructions on the Passcode redemption certificate are inaccurate.  Register.netbotz.com now redirects to dcimassets.schneider-electric.com. The old registration site on register.netbotz.com has now been migrated to our new license and entitlement site.

Resolution:
Existing register.netbotz.com logins will work on our new DCIM Assets site. Either log in with an existing account or create a new account.
After logging in, there will be one or more groups on the left hand side. Clicking on this group allows you to see all devices in that group and it allows you access to the register asset button. To redeem a passcode, you must have an asset (ie. StruxureWare Server, NetBotz appliance etc) registered.

Note: All StruxureWare DCE Virtual Machines should be registered as AP94VMTRL Virtual Machine Trials. SFDCOBASE must be used to redeem StruxureWare Data Center Operation license keys

You can select the group and find an existing asset to which you must redeem the passcode against or you can click on the search button on the left to find the proper asset. MAC addresses may not be searchable using a separator so you may want to try without a separator as well. Once you find the correct asset, click the menu (horizontal lines to the right of the asset) and select redeem passcode. Paste or type in the passcode and hit Next, the screen should indicate what type of license key is being redeemed. Click next and you will see a new dialog box with the license key. Click "Component Details" to display the license key. Copy and paste this key into the system to which you are trying to add the license. Please be sure to omit any spaces.

Any asset with the greater than symbol displayed next to it has license keys associate with it. Click the greater than symbol to expand that asset and view any registered licenses. Clicking on a license will bring up its information. Click "Component Details" to display the license key.
If you need assistance with product and passcode registration, license key transfers, or for problems with the product registration site, please call or email your local technical support group.

Best Regards,

Cory
