Dear support team,
My customer has 1 netbotz 500. They forgot its account and password. I tried to configreset
After that log in using default account & password : root & netbotz.
But I can't see any thing in display.
I tried to connect using Serial configuration Utility (username: root, pass: netbotz)
But still can't log in to configure.
Do you have any advice for me about this issue?
Hope to see your reply soon,
(CID:95355403)

Hi Su,
The IP configuration of the appliance is normally retained when you do a configreset, so you can still access the appliance using its previously assigned IP address
Close serial communications program, disconnect your null modem cable, and log into the appliance through the advanced view using username/password: netbotz/netbotz.
The serial communications program login credentials are normally root/netbotz for the username/password that is if you did reset the device successfully.

Felix

Hi Felix,
This problem here is I can not connect using the old IP address, and customer forgot the account password.
That why I try to using the serial configuration Utility to reconfigure IP address.
Best regards,

Hi Su,
Some of this units would use root/apc as username/password when logging in via terminal software, and apc/apc as username/password respectively when logging in via advanced view application.
