Hi,
Customer wants to place several zones for leak detection. He wants to use leak rope sensors.
Can I use Universal ports to connect more than 2 leak rope sensors on Nbz 750?
Can I use Universal port on sensor pods to add more leak rope sensors on other racks?
Wil there be any problem when adding Nbz to DCE?

Hi Boriz,
Leak rope sensors will only work when connected to the specific ports indicated. If you need more leak detection on a single appliance, you can extend the rope sensors up to 100 feet or you can use spot leak sensors. Leak rope will not be detected or work in universal sensor ports.
You mention adding a NetBotz 750 to DCE and ask if there will be issues. If you're still referring to the leak sensors, the appliance won't detect them so DCE won't see them. If you're talking about adding the 750 in general, you can add it to DCE but if you have DCE 7.6 you'll have to download the DDF. If you have 7.7, the DDF is already there but you will see an error stating you're camera won't work properly. I believe the message is about an unsupported firmware. For cameras from the 750 to work in DCE, you must be at DCE 7.7 and the yet to be released 5.2 Botzware (firmware). Sensors detected on the appliance should still be seen on DCE.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Boris,
For zonal leak detention with a 750 appliance, it may be better to look into Spot Fluid sensors (NBES0301) as only 1 Leak Rope is supported per appliance.

Hi Kevin,
The 750 actually supports 2 leak ropes and their extensions.
