Issues about adding NBRK0250 to NBRK0450

Hi Team,

Is there anybody ever try adding  NBRK0250 to NBRK0450 (or 550/570) ?  A customer told me that he had  1*NBES0308 , 1* NBES0307  , 1*NBES0303 , 1*AP9335T and 1*AP9335TH connected to NBRK0250 , then added it to NBRK0450 . But only temperature and humidity sensor values are displayed in AV .

And I have tested with NBRK0570 , it still cannot recognize NBES0307/0803 . Pls kindly help me on this.

Both firmwares has been updated to latest version, pls seen the screenshot as bellow :

Dear Eric,

NBRK0250 and NBRK0450/570 are Netbotz Appliances. Please refer the Installation Manual of 450/570.

It is not possible to connect NBRK0250 to NBRK0450/570 as they are appliances. Therefore, please do not try connecting the NBRK0250 to NBRK0450/570 as its not supported.

Regards,

Bala

Hi Bala, Well, there is misunderstanding ..... Sorry for that I haven't clarified it clearly. NBRK0250 and NBRK0450 are not connected directly via any cable . i mean 250 is added into 450 as a SNMP device . Thanks Eric

Hi Eric, I am sorry for my misunderstanding. As Valentin mentioned, please check if its supported by updating the DDF file. I am not sure if the current Botzware version supports NBRK0250 to show all the readings via SNMP by having the appropriate DDF file. Secondly, I do not thing NBES0308-NetBotz Leak Rope Sensor - 20 ft. is supported by NBRK0250. As per the NBRK0250 User Manual, The following options are available for the Rack Monitor 250. NBES0308 is not listed in the supported list. NetBotz Rack Sensor Pod 150 (NBPD0150) Temperature Sensor with Digital Display (AP9520T) Temperature/Humidity Sensor with Digital Display (AP9520TH) Temperature Sensor (AP9335T) Temperature/Humidity Sensor (AP9335TH) Wireless Temperature Sensor (NBWS100T/NBWS100H) Wireless Sensor Pod 180 (NBPD0180) USB Coordinator & Router (NBWC100U) NetBotz 3.65-m (12-ft) Door Switch Sensor for APC Racks (NBES0303) NetBotz 15.24-m (50-ft) Door Switch Sensor for Rooms or Third Party Racks (NBES0302) NetBotz 125 kHz Handle Kit (NBHN0125) NetBotz 13.56 MHz Handle Kit (NBHN1356) NetBotz Dry Contact Cable (NBES0304) Alarm Beacon (AP9324) NetBotz Vibration Sensor (NBES0306) NetBotz Smoke Sensor (NBES0307) NetBotz Spot Fluid Sensor (NBES0301) Regards,Bala

Hi Eric, Bala, There is no NetBotz 250 DDF on the NetBotz DDF list. It is not supported at this time. You can add it and you can use Supplemental OIDs for numeric values but DDFs are not to my knowledge being created for the NetBotz devices. Additionally, the 250 is not supported at this time when using pod sharing on the 4xx or 5xx models either. Steve.

Hi Eric!

I think you should contact your local techsupport team and create request for new DDF for netbotz.

Or you can try to request it via Device Support page. First option will be a bit faster, I guess.

Also, you can try to add sensors to Netbotz using supplemental OID feature.
