Good day,
I have several costumers that have DCE 7.X.X and many equipments (UPS-Symmetra PX,LX, Galaxy 3500, Air Cooling-ACSC100, RP100, RC100, Netbotz-450,570,455) and they need to know if possible use IPV6 in your network card (internal and external). Moreover, they want to know if is possible that the DCE can have one IP direction with IPV6 protocol (own network LAN private and/or public), as that the network card AP96XX have this protocol (IPV6) but would be singular that DCE can not access to them because generally DCIM is operating with IPV4 . Please help me to know how I can update IPV4 cards to IPV6 (process) in the case of UPS, Netbotz and in the case of ACSC100 , FM35 air conditioners, because their firmware has only IPV4.
In our country, public entities by law have to migrate to IPV6 protocol all the systems.
Best regards
Leonardo Suárez R. from Colombia

Hi Leonardo,
StruxureWare DCE is not capable of monitoring devices with IPv6 addresses. There is a plan to allow DCE to use an IPv6 address in the future but nothing planned as of yet to monitor such systems.
As for the NMC devices, the version 5.1.1 firmware compatible devices do allow for IPv6 compatibility.
K-base FA156115 provides more specific documentation on this issue.
Thanks,
Steve
