Hi all,
in phased projects, one site per phase, once one site DCO is delivered to the customer, the start working with it, adding, removing items, etc... But we need to build other sites separately in other DCO instance and once finished, we should be able to add/merge the new site with the first one in production environment. I tried with Migration from Struxuware Operation option, but it seems not to work.
How does it works? Is there other way to do that?
Thanks

Hi Antonio,
I would also have suggested using the migration feature, however please note that:
Example A)
1) clean install of DCO on server1 (and then do your work)
2) clean install of DCO on server2 (and then do your work)
These two installations (and their setups) are unique, so we can successfully migrate data from one server onto another. Migration can be done only once!
Example B)
1) clean install of DCO on server1
2) clean install of DCO on server2, and then restore a backup from server1, modify the setup, add rooms, etc.
These two installations are not unique even though they may contain completely different rooms/locations. By restoring a backup file, server2 may get the similar origin as server1.
In this case migration will fail!
Kind regards
