Hi team
I have a customer using Enlogic EN6111 rPDU's, EZ1152 and EZ1157 inline power meters. They need to display measured power in DCO 8.1. The device association has been in place but no power readings appear. DCE shows 130 sensors including a number of duplicated sensors and readings in the Unit Status groups (i.e. peak power, active power etc...). Other devices, APC etc, are working correctly.
The DDF's that are being used in DCE 7.4.3 are Enlogic PDU v18 and Enlogic M1631 PDU v2. My guess is that an updated SNMP DDF will be required.
Please advise.

Hi Jim,
I think you are right, it is most likely ddf related. You/customer might want to ask for customized ddf file(s) from Device Support - request(s) can be posted here: http://sxwhelpcenter.ecostruxureit.com/devices
Kind regards

Hi Jim
You're on the right track - the DDF is the key here and what you need the DDF to do is documented here. DCE Sensor Mapping to DCO. Specifically, DCE must expose these Power Sensors. If you want to see where it's failing, you need SoapUI or similar to check. If you're explicit when communicating with the DDF team you should be fine.
Cheers
Power Sensors:
OUTPUT_POWER_WATTS
OUTPUT_POWER_TOTAL_WATTS
MODULE_OUTPUT_POWER or MODULE_BREAKER_POWER

Hi Ed Tarento,
Thanks for the helpful advice: it's a good message to the DDF-developers to create the most correct DDF-files compatible with both DCE and DCO software. I.e., create such DDF-files, for which special patches are not required later (see my answer).
With respect.

Dear Jim Davis,
My guess is that an updated SNMP DDF will be required.
You can, of course, modify your DDF-file. But there is another standard way - to contact the DDF-team, so that it creates a special patch (xml-file) for your DDF-file. This patch is very easy to install (or removed) to the DCE-server, as it is described in the example of native APC devices by link DCE patch to fix wrong power and current values sent to DCO.
With respect.

Hello Jim,
It looks both the DDF's has to be updated to provide DCO support. Please raise a separate update ticket for the DDF's under Device Support Page.
http://sxwhelpcenter.ecostruxureit.com/devices
Please provide walk file for both the devices which is generated using the below utility.
http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&country=ITB〈=EN&locale=en_US&id=FA158391
Also unfortunately we could not find the exact matching DDF for Enlogic M1631 PDU v2 in our repository, please attach the DDF at the time of raising the request.
