Hi Enric Climent,
The SET CUSTOM VALUE task has been received in Vcenter if you associate any of the vmware hosts(Under Vcenter) to devices in DCO.
Also If you done any changes in the devices like check or uncheck external systems properties of the device "Enable power and cooling impact for this host".
If you unassociate the associated devices also you will receive this message.
Could you please let us know are you receiving this message continuously in Vcenter.
Thanks
Satish

Hi Satishkumar,
The customer haven't done any change in the device. Only was done associated one time and no more. This message is receiving some times in diferent days. The customer has unchecked the "enable power and cooling impact for this host" so he doesn't want any intrussion into his vCenter.
Anyway the customer wants to know how to avoid these messages and also know if there is any other intrussion from DCO to vCenter with the unchecked property.
Best regards,
Enric Climent

As mentioned below it is used to set a custom property about the location of the host. If a host associated with a server in DCO is moved or something else that could affect the location is updated, DCO tries to update the custom property in vCenter. That is probably why he sees the call at different times.
If the user that connects to vCenter from DCO are not allowed to set custom properties the integration will just not update the custom property. It will not impact gathering data.
The required permissions are documented here: Configuring VMware vCenter integration
The setCustomValue permission is the one that is used. If they don't want to be able to see the location from vSphere they should just not grant that permission. It will still try to update the custom property but fail.

The purpose of the message is to update the custom properties of the host with the location of the associated device from DCO.
To my knowledge the custom properties are not visible in the web based vSphere client.
