Hi
I have two UPS communicated with ecostruxure gateway. the system on which gateway is installed and both the ups have static IP. and it is working well. when i installed VPN software(NordVPN) in the gateway PC and connected vpn to a server then the gateway lost the communication with UPS. so pls help me troublrshoot this.

Hello Laxmi,
I am not over familiar with NordVPN so i can not speak to the VPN software itself. Based on your post it sounds like the problem is the VPN software. It would appear from my view the VPN tunnel is sending all traffic through over the VPN which would cause the gateway to lose communication with the monitored devices. I am not sure if it is possible but the potential fix would be to allow ICMP and SNMP to continue to communicate on the local network and only allowing HTTPS connections through the VPN tunnel. I have a few questions that might better help me provide you with an answer outside of having to use a VPN tunnel.
What is the need of the VPN tunnel to the gateway?
