Where is the list of cameras that Schneider will permit us to use with their system for surveillance?
Cameras that are not Netbotz, obviously we know those are permitted.

Dear Eric Clark,
From your question:
...Cameras that are not Netbotz, obviously we know those are permitted.
This is true, but these cameras should still be connected to the NetBotz-400/450/570 appliances.
In addition, only Pelco Inc. cameras are officially supported, see for example NetBotz Compatibility Matrix and Models of Pelco cameras that have been tested with version 3 NetBotz and BotzWare 4.X.
With respect.

thanks for the link.
I am confused though.
Why would a camera that functions on Internet Protocol need to have a netbotz involved? Its just an additional layer of complexity that will reduce quality and reliability.
A Netbotz 570 can only support 4 camera pods (is this the same limitation for IP cameras?)- so That means my cost per camera is : camera + Stuxureware License + 25% of Netbotz = $ zzzz
need to do a cost / benefit analysis
