Team,
A customer is using daisy chained APC rack PDUs monitored with EcoStruxure IT Expert.
The naming of the rack PDUs seems pretty random:
Switch -> PDU 3 -> PDU 2 -> PDU 1 -> PDU 4
Is there a way to control the naming or change the default name?

Dear Christian Riis,
The end customer can simply change the Name and Display ID number of the rPDUs in the chain via the master rPDU (with Display ID = 1) web-GUI in the Device Configuration menu:
Hope this helps you.
With respect.

Hi Specialist.
It worked really well with renaming the PDU.
But I wonder about their numbering. The first on the line ends with the number 3, the second on the line is number 2, the third on the line is then 1, and the last one is called enough 4.

Dear Bo Markussen,
This is because not master rPDU (with Dislay ID = 1), but slave rPDU (with Display ID = 3) is connected to the LAN.
The customer can fix this confusion by connecting master rPDU (with Dislay ID = 1) to the LAN and then changing the order of their Display IDs.
With respect.
