Hi All,
I have a customer Ituran Road Track Brasil, they have a some ddfs that are not working properly.
The difficulty we have for all equipment is the creation of a functional DDF: that is, with real numerical values extracted from the equipment, with correct alert status for each alarm according to the manual demand, and communicating correctly with the software without unavailability .
For the CMS 700 (PDU): The DDF was created, however we have the difficulty described above regarding values and alerts. We also have intermittent communication between the software and the equipment, the equipment to communicate with the software with frequent recidivists.
For NFS-320 (Fire Alarm Panel) - The DDF has been created but the alarm values are not correct as described above (incorrect numerical values, incorrect alarm status). The alarm values and the manual for Schneider have been sent several times as requested by the manufacturer / DCS.
For DSE 8660 (QTA) We do not have a functional DDF, the developed ones do not have communication, we have already checked network communication, among other troubleshootings requested by Schneider without success. (Already confirmed communication is correct through other DDFs, but not successful with those developed properly for this equipment).
Attached are the DDFs developed by Schneider.
Could you help me about this DDFs?
Regards,
(CID:126173976)

Hi Patricia,
As I mentioned previously, it would have been more helpful to break up each issue into it's own post and provide more detail. Hopefully the DDF folks can also provide insight but I believe the following may help in figuring out what the actual issues are and how they may be resolved.
1: For the CMS 700 (PDU): The DDF was created, however we have the difficulty described above regarding values and alerts. We also have intermittent communication between the software and the equipment, the equipment to communicate with the software with frequent recidivists.
Is this an SNMP device or Modbus?
Please provide screenshots showing exactly what you mean. What values exactly are not showing properly. The "above" info states:
that is, with real numerical values extracted from the equipment, with correct alert status for each alarm according to the manual demand,
What values are not numeric and should be? What alarm status is incorrect and exactly how is it incorrect?
2: For NFS-320 (Fire Alarm Panel) - The DDF has been created but the alarm values are not correct as described above (incorrect numerical values, incorrect alarm status). The alarm values and the manual for Schneider have been sent several times as requested by the manufacturer / DCS.
Is this SNMP or Modbus?
As with #1, please show exact information describing what is incorrect. Screenshots showing what the customer feels is incorrect is required.
3: For DSE 8660 (QTA) We do not have a functional DDF, the developed ones do not have communication, we have already checked network communication, among other troubleshootings requested by Schneider without success. (Already confirmed communication is correct through other DDFs, but not successful with those developed properly for this equipment).
Is this a modbus or SNMP device?
How did you check that communications is correct "with other DDFs?"
What type of network communications checking was done exactly?
What troubleshooting was done exactly?
