DCO Authentication Server is required Error

Hello.

I'm trying to add a user to the DCO using the DCE as the authentication server, but when I try to do it I get the error: Authentication server required.

I already checked the authentication server configuration information and it seems correct:

What I can detect is a problem with the ssl certificate of the DCO since the following warning appears when opening the web client:

Any ideas??

Which product version are you running?

Had this worked in the past and it doesn't now?

It may be necessary to request log files, so it would be better in that case if you post this question to the tech support team as we ask you do not share log files in this community.

There have been bugs in some product versions which didn't allow users to be created in DCO/ITA when DCE was the authentication server.

If you are concerned about the SSL certificate. You have added the DCE server as an external system, I assume if you edit that definition and click the "test" button, the test is successful. If yes, then DCO has already trusted the DCE server. Question is, if you're using certs (based on your screenshot the dco server is self assigned), does your DCE server trust the dco server?

The DCO server has a file called server.log which may have the info we need to better understand the error, but as mentioned you should share that to the tech support team. Since this is DCE/DCO this would be the tech support team which provides support for these products in your region.

Issue with DCE as authentication server has been a known issue in latest versions of DCO and earlier versions of ITA. The latest versions of ITA contain the fix (fixed since ITA 9.1.6).

Data Center Operation is no longer being updated.

It is highly recommended to upgrade the product (DCO) to latest ITA (9.2.2 at the moment),
ITA (rebranding of DCO) is in the same product line as DCO, here are some useful articles from the help center:
