Attempting with no success to setup a scheduled report to save as csv into a nfs.
DCE 7.4.1,
Reports
->configure reports
->Name and Scheduled data export
->Add export
->NFS export
Parameters are:
server host name or ip: (DCE workstation)
share: dceshare
subdirectory: dceexports
protocol: tcp
version: NFS v3
Then configuring frequency for first of every month at 01:00 AM
No matter what is selected the OK for the name and schedule data export is grayed out.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi jared reed,
This should be the case if you did not select proper "Export Name" in dialog box "Name and Schedule Data Export" (for example, your export to NFS resource).
With respect.
P.S.: your problem can be resolved more quickly if you share several screenshots with it.

I have tried many settings and shares and cannot get DCE to accept the the sheduled export.
There is no problem exporting manually.

Ok, then another question: you have a problem with the creation of DCE scheduled reporting or a problem with the save of this report to your network share?
From your screenshot, I see that you have a problem with the network resource, and not with the creation of DCE scheduled reporting. I understand you correctly? Did you click on the "Test Export" button? What is the result of this test?
From your screenshot you can also see that you are exporting to Windows resource. Then why do you choose the type of NFS?..
With respect.

My mistake i thought NSF was network file share.. 😕 I have now read the help instructions and still do not know what i am doing wrong.
The test fails, it tells me to check settings I have confirmed all ip, user, pw, pathway setting are correct.

Hi jared reed,
In this case, I would recommend that you first check the availability of this Windows-resource from another PC, for example. Is everything okay, can you have full access to the above specified Windows-resource from another PC?
In addition, which OS is used on the PC, where is your Windows-resource located? Is the DCE-server on the same network as a PC with a Windows-resource or on different subnets? These are the very first suggestive questions.
With respect.

Thank you, I will check these fundamentals, different subnets but gateways are all set and should be working.
The share folder is (local) on the same Windows PC as the DCE client.

Hi jared reed,
The share folder is (local) on the same Windows PC as the DCE client.
It does not matter, since the network interaction is directed from the DCE-server (not from DCE-client) to your PC (where Windows-resource is located). Therefore, the information I asked earlier is still required:
...first check the availability of this Windows-resource from another PC, for example. Is everything okay, can you have full access to the above specified Windows-resource from another PC?
In addition, which OS is used on the PC, where is your Windows-resource located?
With respect.
