I run DCE 7.4.3
One of our authentication servers have been decommissioned so that DCE have automatically removed it from the list of Authentication Servers in the "Users and Device Group Access" Windows
Unfortunately the orphan remote users attached to this servers stay in the "Users" tab and they cannot be deleted! ( I get the warning popup "There was an error deleting User" )
Any suggestion to clean these orphan users? (API?, ...)

Hi Yannic,
K-base FA256306 notes this issue. It is a known issue and basically the only way to remove the users / groups is to put the AD server back on line at least until DCE can communicate with it and then you should be able to delete the entry for that server. Other than that, you'd have to contact your local tech support and allow them remote access to the server.
Thanks,
Steve

Thanks Steven !
We created temporary a alias to the new DC with the old name to properly remove the remote users configuration in DCE
Thanks

Good to know. I thought that might be an option but never tested. Thanks.

Note that I had to recreate the authentication server with the old fqdn in the Authentication Server tab.
As soon as I create this server, it was displayed twice (probably the old reference for orphan users)
