Hi Team,
I have installed DCE v.7.2.1 and discovered NetBotz 450 firmware v.4.3.0, but DCE does not show any thumbnail on the surveillance tab.
The two camera pod 160 connected to the netbotz appliance are enabled and sending motion detected email alerts as configured through Botzware v.4.3.0.
Kindly see the screen shots below and assist as I have never experienced this before.

Hi Felix,
Please review KBase FA158423. I have seen this happen in the past. It is usually caused by DNS settings/Network settings. Verify the DNS by carrying out a NSLOOKUP. Also, you can try and use an alternative DNS?
What OS are you using for the DCE client? Have you tried a different OS/DCE client to see if you are able to view the thumbnails?
Please check if all the correct ports are open. KBase FA158328 describes all the ports.
Are you able to view the camera image on Advanced View for the Netbotz, without any problems?
It looks like the appliance is on the private side, If you switch it over to the public side, are you seeing the same issue?
Is this Netbotz using a static IP? Are you utilizing Lan B under the network settings? Are you able to post screenshots of the network settings here?
Do you have any proxy set up? If so, can you disable it for testing purposes?
Is this a VM or a hardware server? if its a VM, are you able to deploy the new DCE v7.2.6 OVA template (downloadable from apc.com) and just discover the Netbotz appliance (preferably on a different host than the 7.2.1 version) and see if it works?
You can also carry out a packet capture to see if we can see anything happening over the network.
The newest Botzware for Netbotz is 4.4.1
