I've just come across an odd problem. Our DCE isn't able to retrieve clips for one of our Netbotz cameras (single rack Netbotz with a single camera pod), but when I go to Alarm History all the clips are there and able to be viewed.
The weird thing is, I just made a change to a random setting (Event Send Retry), applied it, reversed the change, applied again, and now any new clips are able to be retrieved. All the old ones (e.g. from the last month) still do not pull up.
Anyone seen this before?

Hi Dominic,
I have seen instances where making a change and changing it back has righted issues within DCE. That being said, I have not specifically seen it for this issue or setting. I will also say that the images sent to surveillance are different than the ones sent to the DCE server in an alert. The NetBotz appliance will actually send one set of images for an alert and an entirely different set of images for surveillance...even if they are identical images. They're stored in different places on the server as well.
If I run into an issue similar to this I may try setting and resetting the different surveillance options and we can see what happens but as I mentioned, I have not see this specifically be a resolution in the past. If we do have any luck, I'll try to come back to this post.

Thanks Steve. It seems rather inefficient to have two sets of every video clip saved on the server. Any idea why that is?
