I've been trying to get my DCE 7.2.4 appliance upgrading to ultimately 7.6.0. but I'm having problems with getting the 7.2.5 upgrade to install.
I run the apply server updates, upload the extracted .lst file. the client will open a webpage with a list of steps to complete, installing software software set 1, installing software set 2, and cleaning up.
I get through updated DCE steps 2 of 4, the server reboots, and never comes back. watching the console screen it seems all services start as part of the boot process, but the upgrade never continues, and the web console says that services are unavailable. the DCE client will also not load, saying server unavailable.
I let the server sit like this for over an hour thinking that it was just running background tasks. I eventually rebooted it through the vcenter console. and after that reboot, it acts like nothing ever happened. and it's still running 7.2.4
Tried this process 4 separate times now, with identical results.
Anyone have any ideas?

To solve your problem quickly, you must first make .
Then, with the help of any archiver, extract the target text file name_your_DCE_backup/data/logs/install.log.
You can analyze it yourself or send it to me for analysis.

I have done a quick browse through the log file and didn't see anything standing out at me. I will start doing a deeper dive into.
