Dear Scheider Team.
We have two industrial automatic transfer switches for our Data Center, they each have an internal UPS (SMART-UPS 1500) which have an SNMP card with dry contacts in order to extract the automatic transfer switch signals.
The issue is that the OIDs on the ddf file of the previously mentioned UPSs only return contact states (open/closed)
Is there a way to customize the ddf file so that the OIDs return specific states? e.g., the OID indicating Utility/Generators instead of Open/Closed.
Than you.

Dear Banco Central Honduras,
Since you are using Schneider Electric's native UPS, customizing DDF-files in this case is simply not possible for obvious reasons.
Therefore, firstly, it is recommended for your dry contacts in the NMC to change their Name and Location so that their purpose is clear.
Secondly, in the DCE software for these dry contacts in the Threshold Alarm Configuration view, you need to configure the corresponding custom alarm thresholds, since you already need it, i.e. Utility/Generators, etc. How to do this is written, for example, in Threshold Alarm Configuration view and can be seen in the video Creating and Managing Thresholds in StruxureWare Data Center Expert.
In addition, I recommend to you after this in the settings of your NMC to disable the alerting about the change status of the used dry contacts. If you do not, then when dry contacts are triggered, the DCE-server will generate two alarms, which will duplicate each other. One alarm will be, that the state of the dry contacts has changed (this is standard Device Alarm), and the second alarm will be about what happened, for example, starting generators or other (this is custom Threshold Alarm).
I hope this is what you need.
If you have any questions, please ask.
With respect.
