An engineer has recently asked me if it is possible to patch a connection on the same panel. He needs to do this because the two racks that need a connection (between them) are both presented on the same panel on the network frame. See the graphic below if it helps (we need to make a connection between rack X and rack Y):
Currently we cannot find a way of doing this in DCO?

Hi Nigel,
Your engineer isn't the only one asking for this functionality! Unfortunately, this is not currently possible in DCO.
The good news is, that we are aware of this limitation and are currently working on allowing connections between different ports on the same equipment for the next version of DCO. So stay tuned - this should be coming soon.

This limitation has been removed with the release of DCO 7.5
