Hi,
We have DCE v7.2.1 and I am in the process of using SOAP to integrate DCE alarms into SCOM 2012.
I noticed today while testing that even though our NetBotz and DCE are set to Australia and hence celsius, alarms that are raised report fahrenheit in the description field when accessed via SOAP.
The alarm description within the DCE client shows celsius but the same alarm has fahrenheit when accessed via SOAP.
The Server Locale setting under Time Settings in Server Administration Settings in DCE is set to English (METRIC).
Is this a limitation of web services or is there somewhere I need to set something?
Thanks,
Steve

Further investigation today has allowed me to discover that there is a difference between how SoapUI talks to DCE and how PowerShell does it. Even though SoapUI shows Australia for the user setting under Help - System Properties, I have to set en-AU for the locale in the SOAP request. PowerShell on the other hand is retrieving the correct data without needing to set any value for the locale.
This means everything is working correctly within my scripts. I'll just need to set the locale when doing testing using SoapUI.
