After i restored from a previous snapshot of our dcim vm we cant see the previous readings from sensors of devices connected to dcim. Looks it has been reset some how. Looks like dcim doesn't remember the prevoous readings. Is there a way the get the previous readings back.

Hi Jurgen,
There are several leading questions:
-- what does "snapshot" mean -- it is vmware shapshot?
-- what types of sensors reading history was reset?
-- where to what devices these sensors are connected?
-- whether '/data' partition of the DCE virtual machine is mounted on a separate vmware-disk or not?
-- whether the analysis of VM logs was made according to ?
Very thanks for the support.

It's a vmware snapshot
Generator sensors, ATS, Humidity, temp, power consumption sensors
These devices are connected to Netbotz Rack monitor 570
Not mounted on a seperated vmware disk

Hi Jurgen,
And the history of sensors was reset in whole or in part?
Tried to reboot VM for reindexation of historical data in a DB?
Very thanks for the support.

The history sensors were reset completely.
I haven't tried the reindextation yet.
Do you have the steps to perform the reindexation?

Hi Jurgen,
The reindexing is executed when the DCE server is rebooted.
You can make a complete backup of the DCE server as it is written here Server Backup/Restore? And then to analyze contents of this backup: whether there is necessary historical information under /data folder?
Besides, you download and analyze server logfiles, how I about it asked earlier ?
Very thanks for the support.
