Add none APC PDU into Struxureware?

Hello everyone,

Im working with Servertech PDU's and I would like to add them to my Struxtureware monitoring version 7.2.0.512.

Im trying to have them discovered by adding them as a SNMPv1 but seems like they are unable to be discovered.

Anyone can help on this please? My Servertech PDU's dont have the latest software so they do not have the ability to pull out the power consumption logs from their network card directly. I want to be able to monitor my consumption on struxureware

Hi, 

I assume you are mentioning DCE 7.2.0.

1. You may need to add the DDF for ServerTech PDU from https://ddf.ecostruxureit.com/ and look for ServerTech PDU. Download the DDF and add into DCE, and rediscover the device again. 

2. I suggest you update the DCE to the latest version (7.2.0 is a bit old). You can reach out the local sales to engage for software support contact for DCE and entitle to DCE upgrade.

Hello TJ,

Thank you! I was able to download my DDF file!! I still have an issue... Just noticed that my PDU's are not protected and therefore, are not login in throught HTTPS but rather just HTTP... and are using users and passwords...

this seems to block the discovery of my PDU's. Can it? If so, is there a way to bypass this so they can be discovered anyways?
