Hi Sergio,
As per k-base FA156085, you can extend the cable 50 feet...up to 100 on a NetBotz appliance.

Hi Sergio,
I just noticed a few differences in the manuals for different devices. Th distances may differ depending on the device to which you are connecting so be sure to check the manual for the specific device.

Yes, it is possible to extend the length of this sensor by using CAT-5 straight cable.
