Hi Jimmy Leung,
Without going into details: if the upgrade to DCE-7.4.3 was unsuccessful, you were able to restore the normal operation of your DCE-server from the backup (I hope you did it)?
Q: During the upgrade to DCE-7.4.3, you patiently waited for the end of the data migration as indicated in Update an existing DCE server:
IMPORTANT: The Data Center Expert v7.4.3 update performs a data migration that can take up to an hour to complete. Do not reboot the server during the update.
With respect.

It is very difficult to assume something, but still it looks like an incorrect data migration of the devices.
Please specify the complete list of devices (model) with which this problem occurred. Or this problem has occurred absolutely with all the devices on the DCE-server (even virtual devices)?
With respect.

This problem only affected about 25% of the devices. All the devices on DCE are using Modbus to request register reading from devices which include power meters and temperature/humidity sensors. The other 75% devices are reading the devices correctly which suggest the data migration during upgrade does not cause any problem on them.
Hope this help.

Jimmy Leung, this is very strange, since I did not have such problems when migrating 3d party Modbus TCP/IP devices.
Q1: After upgrading to DCE-7.4.3, have you checked the correctness of the DDF-file versions for Modbus TCP/IP devices (especially for 3d party devices)?
Q2: After upgrading to DCE-7.4.3, did you check the correctness of the polling settings (IP address, Slave ID, used DDF-file, timings) of Modbus TCP/IP devices (especially for 3d party devices)?
With respect.

Hi all,
Some ddf files that can be loaded in DCE version 7.2.3 or 7.3.1 cannot be loaded in 7.4.3. Doing some tests, I'm wondering if 7.4.3 accept only a limited number of StateSensor values ? (I'm unable to load more than 16 StateSensor in a DDF files into 7.4.3 and it's possible in previous versions). In your case, for a DDF file already loaded, that could explain that some StateSensor states are no more correctly returned.
Regards
