NMC 3 firmware version 3.4.0 introduced multifactor authentication (MFA) which requires a one-time password sent via email after successful username and password authentication.
Some features in Data Center Expert and IT Expert do not work as expected when MFA is enabled on monitored NMC 3 devices anddevice user credentials used for communication with DCE and ITE have email addresses configured.
Before enabling MFA on any devices monitored by Data Center Expert and IT Expert, including NetBotz Rack Monitor 250A, make sure that user credentials configured for discovery, file transfer, and device communication in DCE and ITE do not have email addresses configured on the NMC.
To verify user credentials on the NMC 3 device:
Log in to the device. Go to Configuration > Security > Local Users > Management.
Verify that the email address field is blank for the user credentials DCE and ITE use for communication.
