"Too Many Historic Data Records" Message

Hello, 

I viewed the 'Display Alarms' list in Geo SCADA Expert 2021. In the list I saw 'Too many historic data' message more than one. What could be the cause of this problem?

Your are probably polling your points really fast and are logging everything to the historian. their is so much data that the system can not handle everything and get it into the historian.

You could possibly fix it with a faster system especially faster drives and drive interface.

Realistically you can do one or a combination of these:

• Decrease the polling frequency.
• Change increase the significant change setting on the points.
• Apply filtering on the point's historic tab.
