Hello,
I'm having trouble logging in to WebX for existing users. I defined different user groups, such as administrator and operator groups, and authorized them differently. Then I defined some different users. In ViewX I have no problems with these users, I can log in with different users defined in different user groups but in WebX I cannot log in properly with the same users. After entering the username and password, I have to press the login button about 10 times.
Geo SCADA Expert 2021 December 2022 Update has been installed on the relevant server. I am sure that my username and password information are correct. I tried from different browsers. I can also log in without any problems from ViewX on the server where the web license is defined.
What could be the source of this problem? Is it caused by the server that allows us to access the web or is there something I can do in the user settings?

For Virtual ViewX please check the troubleshooting guide attached to this page: https://community.se.com/t5/Geo-SCADA-Knowledge-Base/Virtual-ViewX-Setup/ba-p/278269
If there is still a problem, gather logs as the guide suggests and contact support.
For WebX which is 'intermittent' please enable WebX logging at the server (use the status tool) and gather DBServer logs and send to support. You could also examine the logs to see each login attempt to understand why there might be a problem.

WebX is an ActiveX that only works in Internet Explorer. Recently Microsoft has made it almost impossible to continue running Internet Explorer. Chrome has a browser extension that can run a URL in Internet Explorer mode, I haven't used it myself, but some customers have successfully used it and other have had problems with it.
It has been a while so I do not remember what the problem was, but I have seen issues with the version of TLS, the Geo SCADA uses being turned off in Internet Options.
You should consider contacting your Sales Representative and making the change to Virtual ViewX.
