Join distinguished Geo SCADA Expert architect Steve Beadle as he outlines the MQTT Sparkplug B Driver, new to EcoStruxure Geo SCADA 2022, the Remote Operations SCADA software platform from Schneider Electric.

The Sparkplug protocol defines an interoperable standard for data exchange between SCADA equipment and SCADA hosts. Sparkplug uses MQTT communications through a broker and Publish/Subscribe technology. Sparkplug supports the transfer of real-time and historic data into Geo SCADA Expert, together with control capabilities. The Geo SCADA Expert driver includes innovative features for managing configuration, automating tasks to improve efficiency.
